Module Training Course: Canvas LMS Mastery
This project established a comprehensive framework to ensure the effective onboarding and development of new faculty members.The primary objective was to implement structured training and performance expectations for faculty during their first year of teaching. Using eLearning, we defined clear and measurable learning objectives for both Basic and Required Level 1 Training Mastery and Level 2 Instructor Training Mastery.
DESIGN
Content Structure
Organize training content into modular units covering specific Canvas functionalities.
Instructional Strategies
Select appropriate instructional strategies such as video tutorials, interactive quizzes, and hands-on activities.
Assessment Methods
Design quizzes and assessments to evaluate learners' understanding and proficiency with Canvas functionalities. After completion of each module, users must complete an assessment quiz where they are then awarded a badge reflecting their demonstrated level of competency.
Outcome
Increased Engagement through completion rates and participation in interactive activities.
Gathered feedback from instructors on the effectiveness of the training program in improving their teaching experiences with Canvas.
